The social media seminar was excellent all round – informative, well explained and illustrated with well-chosen anecdotes and examples that really stick in the mind. We came away feeling inspired and motivated. If you want to know how social media can help leverage your firm’s reputation and increase fee earning, this is a great introduction.

I attended a Social Media course hosted by Nathan Smith of Smith & Smith PRs on 3rd November 2011.
Prior to this, I had never received training on social media and found the use of it quite daunting in a legal context.
I found the course to be a real eye opener. Nathan delivered the material in a useful and comprehensive manner that helped me to gauge the significance and benefits of utilising social media in a legal context. It was refreshing to see aspects of the course delivered through real-time examples on the projector. This transparency allowed me to grasp the step-by-step process of setting up my own social networks and how to take full advantage of each.
Social networks such as Twitter and Linkedin were clearly dissected and explained by Nathan to the extent that I am now confident in being able to access and use these networks competently to develop my own network of contacts. Prior to this I didn’t know where to start.
Overall I was truly impressed with the course and have taken much away from it allowing me to look at social media in a new light.

“Nathan I just wanted to thank you for the recent course you hosted “Social media in the legal profession”. I thought I had an idea of social media until the course, then I realised how little I knew and the incredible possibilities and opportunities it can present. The course was hugely informative and interesting and the information provided will hopefully allow our company to formulate a social media strategy. I cannot recommend this course highly enough for companies to make sure they don’t get left behind.”

Thank you for a most insightful course on social media. The course provided me with a vast amount of tools and knowledge that I am sure will give us the competitive edge. The course was most enjoyable and presented in a way that was easily understood. I would certainly recommend the course to anyone working in a forward thinking law firm!

"Smith & Smith PR came into deliver a PR training workshop for some of the staff who work for our charity. Everyone who attended commented on how informative, enjoyable and useful the training was and one lady said that it had been ‘delivered beautifully’. Given that PR is quite new to Creative Support, and certainly alien to most project managers who might find the thought of writing a press  release quite daunting, Smith & Smith PR’s encouragement and enthusiasm has gone a long way to boost their skills and confidence."
