Summits and symposia are excellent thought leadership arenas for organisations to showcase their knowledge, disseminate ideas and get together with the right partners to facilitate change – whether it’s legislative, political, economic or social change on the agenda.

They are gatherings of like-minded, equal-status people or organisations, away from the rest of the sector, to discuss the subject in hand at some depth and decide next steps in a ‘Camp David’ style setting. Generally closed-door, and not open to the media in terms of detailed content, summits work exceptionally well when the way forward needs to be set out between partners joining together behind a cause.
